At Scholasticus we want to make sure parents are constantly aware of the well-being of their sons and daughters. For this reason, we put at your disposal a comprehensive network of communication options, so you can stay in touch with your loved one at all times during his or her stay in Ecuador. These include:
- A phone line in the United States with direct contact to your son or daughter’s house. The number you should call will come in the Admissions Package –For Parents section.
- A cell phone with an Ecuadorian carrier, to assure your son or daughter can keep in touch with you and everyone else involved in the program constantly. Calling instructions and suggestions will come in the Admissions Package –For Parents section.
- Internet connected computers, both at the University and at the house, and Wi-Fi connection in the house.

If you’re thinking of visiting Ecuador, you can get in touch with our representatives so we can plan your stay in the country, without extra charges. If you wish to visit, we strongly recommend you do after the program is finished, to avoid potential distractions for program participants.
Also, parents can contact Scholasticus managers and advisors at any time to ask about their son or daughter’s development in the program.
