On Thursday, august 13, 2009, at the office of the Chancellor of Universidad Católica de Guayaquil, Dr. Michel Doumet Antón, Scholasticus and the University subscribed the Agreement of Cooperation between both institutions. Such agreement brings both institutions closer together and allows students admitted by Scholasticus to enroll in most assignments and courses at the most prestigious university in the city.
The students will be able to transfer the credits earned in those classes to their home universities abroad, through the facilitation and coordination provided by Scholasticus.
The participants of the subscription event were: as signees, Dr. Michel Doumet Antón, Chancellor of Universidad Católica de Guayaquil and Ing. Ernesto Hidalgo Vidal, Scholasticus’ Program Director; and as honorary witnesses, Lcda. Cecilia Loor de Tamaríz, Dean of the School of Philosophy and Literature of Universidad Católica; Lcda. Elizabeth de Lourdes Larrea Santos, Academic Vice-Chancellor of Universidad Católica; and Ing. Xavier Hidalgo Vidal, Scholasticus’ Executive President.
The agreement will allow to tighten the mutual cooperation between Universidad Católica and Scholasticus, and to facilitate the study abroad experience of foreign students in Guayaquil.
